....hey, knock it off, no more rabble rousing...the forum response function is working again...can't we just return to the usual banter involving the review of obscure amplification equipment, wild and wacky heretofore unplayed modes or the minutiae of the joys and anguish of playing at an out of town tuesday night open jam??

Ok, how about this: Slim Whitman lives! Yeah, the guy is still alive and playing with his son in FLA. Who knew? We all thought he died years ago! Those K-Tel commercials usually featured dead artists with expired copyrights.

I used to have a bunch of Mexicans & Hondorans on my crew. In an effort to try speaking their language, I started to sing Una Paloma Blanca and they went nuts. They requested it almost every day. For all I know, they may have been making fun of me. And I realy don't care. But we all had a good time with it.
