IBC Coverage: WINNERS

The WIRED! Band, representing the Washington Blues Society took home top honors for the International Blues Challenge band! Second place was the Bart Walker Band, representing the Nashville Blues Society. Third place, was Paula Harris for The Golden Gate Blues Society!

""The winner of the solo/duo competition is Ray Bonneville, representing the Ozark Blues Society of Northwest Arkansas.""
Solo/Duo 2nd Place winner was Dr. Don’s Double Dose for the Sydney Blues Society.

The Best Self Produced CD was Where I’m Coming From… by Dave Keller. The Gibson Guitarist Award was taken by Bart Walker, and the Lee Oskar Top Harmonica Player was awarded to Randy McQuay.

Congratulations to all of the winners, and those who’s mighty talents allowed them to compete in the 28th International Blues Challenge!

i said in the first post that nobody from Arkansas had won- apologies Ray! i don't know Ray Bonneville but the report i got from an attendee at the competition said he definitely earned a win. so Congrats to Ray!!!
