I'm playing two gigs in London in about a month.

The first, on Wed 2/29 at the Roundhouse, is a fundraiser for Save the Children, and my contact, Paul Pacifico, has written "Tickets are being sold as tables for 6 or 10 people at £500 per head (about $650) - they are looking to raise £1m on the night for the charity." He also writes "If you do have anyone that might want to buy a table, do let me know and I will ask if there is a pack that can be sent to them."

If you're interested, please contact me and I'll forward your name. As I've mentioned, I'll be part of a bill that includes James Cotton, Maceo Parker, and Dr. John. I'm scheduled to play for 15 minutes solo at some point, and I'll also be part of the big jam at the end. I don't seriously believe that Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger will be joining the jam, or hanging out at the after-party, as has been hinsted, but then again: at those prices, you never know.

On Thursday, 3/1, I'm playing Kepinska's which appears to be a comedy/all-purpose club, not a blues club per se. I'm opening for, and jamming with, Paul Pacifico's band. He writes "Meanwhile, our club date on 1st March should be on sale imminently which will be great fun - only 150 capacity so will feel more like a friends and family aftershow from the night before I hope!"

That sounds much more affordable and I certainly hope to see some of my MBH forum acquaintances there. I'll bring copies of SOUTHBOUND and KICK AND STOMP, too. I plan on wetting my whistle.
