I only had an i- phone to video it on, carefully balanced in the wings against some water bottles, the pole is in there all the way through. You can just see Larry Taylor playing bass behind it. I was thankful I got it filmed at all! Yeah, playing with Kim was a realllll treat. He is endlessly inventive and is a wonderful acoustic player. A bit nervewracking, but I kept with the groove and tried not to overplay . A very generous bandleader, I only expected 12 bars to solo with, but he kept whoopin' for more. Thanks Ryan!
I think we need th estory of how you were sitting in with Kim. Did you just turn up at his gig and ask? ---------- "Come on Brackett let's get changed"
