Hi Guys and Girls,
We are holding our Harping By the Sea winter bash on the Saturday 4th February at the Brunswick Pub in Brighton.
Beginners workshops from Richard Taylor Intermediates from Darren Causten and Will Greener.
We have other workshops, including using a rack and i'll be squealling the place down with bending overblows and playing in different positions.
More information available at Richard (Harp Doctor) site http://www.harpsurgery.com/harmonica-mid-winter-festival-5th-feb-2011-brighton-uk/#more-4893
Tickets are available from the Brunswick Pub.
See ya there
James

Any info on what the workshops will be this year? The website only has last years info.
Also, can you buy tickets on the door? I'm not sure if I can make it or not yet.
Thanks!

Baker,
Yer, sorry the information hasn't been updated recently - i will get onto Stuart immediately!!
Darren is working on; playing with other musicians and etiqutte, amplified harp, tone - which he has in abundance and any other areas the group decide.
I havent spoken to Will Greener (maybe he is reading this now and can answer your question).
I will have a guitarist and am hoping to look at playing in different positions and opening up the higher end of the harp. Overblows if anyone is interested (i might be sat on my own for that one).
Richard 'the hat' Taylor is covering all of the basics; single notes, chugging rhythms etc.
I hope that helps - please say if you have specific things you want and i'm sure someone will be around.
