Ouch, how does he think he's making music. He's just blow draw blow draw fast as he can all over the place. Wonder how long it took him to stop dropping the harmonica in public, heh.
The ticket price for hill country is fair. What turns me off is flight cost for what is a 2 day weekend. Have a 2 day hill country in northeastern America & I'd show up.

@Ryan... I was more hoping we could coerce Adam to put Nicky on as a teacher/performer. Maybe teach a clinic on how to 'play fast'... ---------- Chad Walker Crescent City Harmonica Club
Nicky Shane: ~5 notes per second for 20 seconds. Blackie Shackner: ~12 notes per second for 90 seconds.
Since Shackner wasn't recognized by Guinness, and before Shane there was no record to beat, I suppose we can give Shane credit for being the fastest when compared to NOBODY.
In an earlier thread about this Adam asserted that Shane is doing this as schtick, citing his background as a comedian and visual artist. Perhaps, but I'm still waiting for him to do something funny.
I don't think he takes himself seriously and hey, if there's a world record out there that no one wants to take, he's as much entitled to try for it as anyone.
Although personally, I would be happy if someone more respected took a shot.
