I saw the title "Lady in Black" and said , "Nah...Couldn't be!" I clicked play and sure enough, it is. I immediately clicked it off. I love that song...But I can't listen to it. I know the words all too well. This song has VERY deep and VERY real meaning to me. And I told her so before she left...37 years ago. I've been carrying a painful emptiness around with me ever since. This song brings it to the surface... BIG time. And it's hard to tuck back away.
BTW: By far, the best version of this song is on Uriah Heep's "Acoustically Driven" CD (or DVD). It's given a very Celtic touch.

I too have been touched. That tune has brought back so many memories for me also. I could recite every word to that song after all these years. well played.
