I am very depressed to learn that Adam's appearance at the Roundhouse in London is part of a private gig, so am wondering if anyone knows if tickets are yet available for the other London gig as I am not finsing much headway tracking anything down? And worse case (and out of desperation) where he will be busking in Paris?
Many thanks...

I wasn't aware that the Roundhouse gig was private. I was told that it was a fundraiser for Save The Children. So theoretically anybody who bought a ticket at whatever price they're selling for could get in. You'd see James Cotton, Maceo Parker, Dr. John, and others, along with me. Maybe Clapton and Jagger, too, since I've been told that they may be there.

Hi Adam, do you know what your dates are for London? I'd like to make it along too. Please let me know about the Round House one too. Thanks.

Take a look at the Adam's gigs page on this website.

I couldn't find anything on the Roundhouse's website, and noticed on James Cotton's site that it was noted as 'private appearance' or something like that. Can't seem to find any way to get tickets for that night but will certainly look at the gig the following night. Am also quite keen for an excuse to go to Paris for a night so would love to know where you will be busking in May if you find out before you get there?!

I'm quite sure that I won't know where I'll be busking in May until it actually happens. I'll be tagging along with my old guitar man, Bill Collins.
I've emailed my contact, asking for specific details about the Roundhouse gig on February 29th, but he's suddenly gone silent. Hopefully that will change.
It WOULD be fun to jet off to London on somebody else's time, share a stage with James Cotton, Maceo Parker, and Dr. John, and get a chance to play "Crossroads Blues" as a OMB with Eric and Mick in the audience before collecting a generous check and winging back home, having laid waste to the British blues scene. That would be fun.
But I'll live through it, either way.

It is fun to grow old isn't Adam :-) The younger days could eat a hole in ones stomach with such a situation. People tend to just think- wow what a gig! They have no concept of the no sleep flight, the hours of stuff that will stress you on your way from airport to the stage, probably a bad sound from a great system, hurried, frezied on and off the stage, trying to set your rig up in pit stop time frame, could you give me more of this and less of that in the monitor? No use, this sound guy is shinning me on and they just announced my name- smile say hello- hell I can't hear myself..... I do hope it comes through for you cause it would most likely be fun once you got to playing!
