I inherited a burned cd with "The Blues" written on it. It is a fantastic collection of traditional blues tunes and I can definitely make out Eric Clapton and Mick Jagger singing on some of the tunes. It is also Clapton's guitar. I don't know who the main "ODBG" singer is, but it sounds familiar. Most excellently, it sounds like Kim Wilson on a lot of the cuts doing work reminiscent of his Ludella back up playing.

Anyone know what this session may have been?

I bought the mp3 recently, and am enjoying the heck out of this slickly done all star blues effort.Jimmy's old school blues singing, doesn't get much better.

The harmonica playing is so clean and tasteful. They weave in and out peekabo style with the other cats, damn if it ain't a learning experience. The solos are phenominal, not to lengthy, just perfectly effective.

This album is blues 101 for alot of reasons, and a nice tribute to Mr. Rodgers.

I bought that one sometime back, one of my favorites! A lot of good players on that tribute album.
