I don't think so Billy. Sounds more like first position to me.

Positions isn't my strong point, so this is a good exercise for me. I'll say 12th position (F harp). I think he's doing this:

5d6d - 5d6d - 5b6b - 5b6b - 5b6b - 4d5d - 5b6b - 4d5d - 6d'->6d - 6b - 5d6d - - 5d6d - 4d4d - 4b5b - 5d6d

Though I can't get it to 'feel' like the recording. Perhaps a harp with larger reeds? I'm using a Manji. Standing by to be corrected.

Side Note: When the Bob Dylan model harp was introduced by Hohner they interviewed him and when asked who his main influences on harp were he said "Wayne Raney, Little Walter, & Jimmy Reed".

It's just a B-flat harp in 1st position but he's using the major pentatonic not the minor or blues. The scale on the high end is 7b 8d 8b 9b 10d 10b. He's bending the 8b a little for feeling.
During the chording parts he's just blowing up higher on the 678 area and drawing on the 567 area etc. kinda slopping it up.

I agree with MichaelAndrewLo. Though, I thought he was chording 4-7 playing in in, out out, in then 8 blow bend.

@Michael
Well I only missed it by 12 positions. That explains why it didn't feel right.

But I want it on the record that I figured out at least one method that he DIDN'T use.
