This riff has been haunting me almost since I started playing a year ago, and for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Please have mercy...

If I caught it right you’re taking about the part that starts around the 6th bar…try this,

1b 1b 1b 2b : 4b 4b 3d* 2b : 3b (4d*4b5b)(4d*4d3d*)3b : repeat kinda then back to 2d, 3d ¼ note stuff and some 1/4 blow octaves …this should get you started…

I just need help with the one riff that starts at 0:22. It is something like "da dee da-da dum, da dee da-da dum", if that somehow helps.

I can't tell if the tabs smwoerner posted are what I am talking about; I am still trying to work it out. It sounds pretty close, at least.

4D bend to 4D, slide to 5D then back 4D 3D 2D.
