Does anyone have an opinion about an Electrovoice 606 microphone? I have heard varying reviews.

Not very loud, probably low impedience. Shell is nice. The 605 is hotter, the 905 hotter still. I think I have a dead 606 shell somewhere. My 905 is a nice hot clean sounding mic.

the best ElectroVoice is the 634/641 Hi-Z ,.if your
looking for more bottom an mids...
These mics sound better than the Sure 520 CM's & are alot smaller {IMO}

This one is a Hi-Z 606 in fantastic condition that I picked up cheap on eBay for $31.00 plus shipping. I won't get it for about 5 days. I already have an EV 638 which is the same as the 641 without the on-off switch as you know. Do you have any experience with the 606 Hi-Z model?

Got this mic in today, and this is one hot Hi-Z mic! Easy to cup in the hands as well.
