I found a vintage supro, (from the 40's I think) it as two 6 inch speakers, they might be 6 1/2, or 6 by 9's not sure Will they not give me the bass response I need for harp? F
Bass response is not specifically dictated by cone size. But 6" speakers would usually be fitted because they are cheap & fairly inefficient. If it has 2 speakers & you don't like them you might be able to get a new baffle made to accomodate another speaker(s). Choices in 6" speakers are pretty limited. If the speakers are field coil type you will need to have some rewiring done to accomodate permanent magnet types. ---------- www.myspace.com/markburness
