Anyone have the physical dimensions for the Harpgear 1 or Harpgear 2?

The HG2 is about the same size as a bread-box.

Seriously, it's ideal for fly-in gigs; it fits under the seat or in the overhead compartment.

Oh..HG 1 or 2. I was thinking this was a 1/2 dimensional question about all that time shifting wave frequency experiment stuff they are talking about these days. Phew! (Or is it 1/2 days?)

Let me rephrase my question, can a kind soul with a tape measure, an HG 5F1 Standard, 1 or 2, and less of a sense of humor please meausre the height, width and length of the amp and post the physical dimensions of the amp as a reply to this post?

I dont need an amp. I own a tweed Champ clone. I would like to purchase a cover for it. If the cabinet is the same size as an existing HG amp, I will buy a pre made cover off eBay. If not, I'll get one made.

you know, you could eliminate all of your frustrations by calling brian purdy, the man behind the harpgear amps, and ask him.
he is very helpful and friendly and without humor.
heck. the info you seek may even be on the website.

Thanks for the advice. I checked the HG website. I didn't realize that it was a huge hassle for someone.

Better yet. Never mind. I shouldn't have asked a question here. Clearly, I made a mistake asking. I won't do that again.

hold on, joe.
it could be that none of us own a hg amp, in which case it is a big deal.
and to be fair- you started the thread just 3 hours ago, give it some time. i would bet you get the dimensions.
and i DID send you in the right direction.

Just measured my HG2...

It is 13.5 inches high (includes the heighth of the feet, but not measuring the additional heighth of the carrying handle which adds almost an inch), 14.5 inches wide, and 8 inches deep (front to back).

Joe ,why would'nt you measure your amp if you are getting a cover.I have bought covers made for certain amps(V-faced super)and it did'nt fit.Had to send actual measurements to get it right.

Hey Joe,

Have a look at D2F covers http://www.d2fcovers.com/

They have covers to fit pretty much any amp out there, including Harp Gear. They probably already have one to fit your amp if it is the same dimensions as a tweed champ. I bought one of these covers for my HG 35 and Kalamazoo 2. Both were "stock" items, fit like a glove. They are very well made padded covers.

As a matter of fact, I just checked their inventory and they have several Champ covers listed, including a Tweed 5F1. $55.95

If you are interested in having a custom amp cover made, I got one last year from Studio Slips. Really nice. Maybe a little expensive, but you certainly get what you pay for.

My advice, based on experience, is to go with Tuki rather than D2F.
