Happy New Year, I look forward to 2012 with hope and optimism and to get things started we'll repeat the Columbus Clinic on January 28. Those of us who attended the first Clinic had the opportunity to come together and share our passion for the Blues Harp. I really enjoyed the jam circles we had last time and as a result we'll be adding a live band.I hope that some of the newer players can take advantage of this opportunity to play in a live setting. As before, there will be the opportunity to try and buy equipment.

I will be down South for the Winter. Hate to miss this one. Last one was a blast. Lot of fun trying out the Sonny Jr.and different Mics. Its great to jam with a live band in one room and to play along with Walter Tore in another. Hope it continues to be quarterly. I'll be back for the April Jam. Should be a great warm up for May's HCH. ---------- And I Thank You !! K.C. castlehomes69@yahoo.com

KC we'll catch you at Harp Clinc III. Harpengr it's top on the 'to do' list. KingBiscuit, if you see Mike Gillian anywhere remind him to call Jim Biersdorf. It would be great if we could get both of them there, they are the best players I've heard in Ohio and beyond.

Just a a few more days until our second event. This time we'll have a couple live bands to back us up. I expect my good friends from The Don Norman Band to be there. This is great traditional blues band, Omar Coleman and Cleveland Fats front this band, and with Mike Gillian leaving the Ray Fuller Band to play with Don Norman we are going to hear some harp playing. If you are in town, please join us. http://www.colsbluesalliance.org/
