It's from Radio Miami International on the 31 meter shortwave band, it's supposed to be the first ever blues-only program... in my 30 years of listening to shortwave radio I can't remember one.
Ways of listening:
Shortwave: It's going to be onb 9955 kHz tonight, Sunday, Jan. 1 at 9 p.m. EST (which is Jan. 2 0200 UTC time)
Internet simulcast: www.wrmi.net

This sounds like a GREAT reason to go down into my old radio shack and dust of some equipment. I am an (inactive) HAM and have several old receivers . Looking forward to it ! Thanks Dave !! ----------

THere are some receivers online you can listen to... plus there is an internet simulcast so everybody can hear. Would like to hear what those old receivers are pharpo. I'll be listening on an American-made Heathkit SB-310 from the late 1960s, it's a sweet 10-tube receiver... just checked them all and replaced two vacuum tubes. I had a little heart attack about three weeks ago, been taking it easy, been on the radios more than ever ;)

I think the ratio of Ham Radio Operators to Harmonica Players is significantly higher than the ratio of Harmonica Players to Genral Population

Hey Dave
Thanks for the heads up. I got to listen (via internet) and really enjoyed it. My only disappointment was that it was only 30 minutes!!!
Thanks again (and good luck with the health issue)
