Being a bit new to all of this, I am trying to find some UK harmonica events that are worth attending. I know about the Bristol National Event and Harping by the Sea http://www.harpsurgery.com/harmonica-mid-winter-festival-5th-feb-2011-brighton-uk/

Are there any others that people would recommend? Or goods web sites for information?

Thanks

A lot of the events in the UK are organised by The National Harmonica League, they also publicise events they have no involvement with so they are a good source of information. Events are listed on their site here: http://harmonica.co.uk/diary.htm

You can become a member for a small fee which witch will give you discounts on their events tickets, you also get a monthly magazine too.

Hi Libertad,

I help to organise the event in Brighton and would be very happy to answer any questions you may have.

I agree with Steamrolling Stan that the more the merrier - there is always something to learn - having said that its usually a playoff between work, family, hobbys etc...

We have an excellent looking lineup this February and it should be a great day. I will promote it more through this forum a bit closer to the date.

Regards

James
