I can get out all of the 3 hole bend notes, but on the very bottom note there is kind of a high pitched, tinny note that sounds at the same time as the bend note. It sounds like kind of an overtone, like someone's gently sucking on the 10 draw at the same time. This is the only note I'm experiencing this on. Is it the harmonica or my technique?

Do you bend them in pitch? I know that I often bend flat on three hole. Especially the lowest bend tend to get bent to the bottom which is far beyond flat where you can get a lot of sound artifacts. Try a tuner if you haven't. Otherwise I would guess that it's a combination of harp and technique. Do all your harp whistle? Every key? Have you tried gapping?

I get similar artifacts on some of my harps when bending to the bottom and beyond so that the draw reed start to choke and I think the blow reed is the one that give of sound. Kind of torsional whine like badly gapped and executed overblows (which I hear a lot of from my harps :)
