I've been gapping the seven draw and the thing is when it overdraws smoothly the seven draw becomes less playable. Very annoying! Is it a wizards secret to gapping the 7, cant seem to get it right?

The only thing I'm doing is pushing the reeds still on the comb, i've made a special screwdriver for doing this. Its flat so ill push the reeds in or out, straight.
This works for all the reeds even the 10 od is smooth after this (noble or classic 1847).

It feels like the seven draw allows less air or something.....

Thanks in advance,

Jeff
