Last Friday, the 9th, I did a couple of my gospel blues tunes @ our churches Christmas dinner party. I had a great time, the audience really got into it and since then I've received a lot of good feedback about it. This morning when my wife & I got to church, one of the women came up and went on about how her son was so taken by how I played that he ran out the next day & bought a CD of blues harp music. And he also wants to learn how to play harp. A couple of the other younger lads have also talked to me about learning how to play like that. What a compliment.

So..a couple of things. 1. Thanks to Adam & all of you here for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. I have gleaned a lot of great info from yall. 2. For those of you who have been on the fence about playing out, just grab a park bench, close your eyes & start to wailing away. You're probably better than you think. And even more importantly, you never know who's lives you're going to impact with your music.

Gee, after I play all I get are requests to play "Far Far Away"! I'm glad it went so well! Great opportunity to mentor some young folks.

@2chops

What a great opportunity for you. Teach those youngsters. Not only will they love it, but you will become a better harmonica player for the experience.
