Despite their awkward look (look big and kind of clumsy), the covers are super-comfortable. The most comfortable covers I've ever played. Lower coverplate is enlarged to ensure that the draw reeds won't hit it.
They snap in place in one fixed position - everything's very precise.

The comb has a specific strong acrylic smell of composite "dymondwood", which may be a problem for smell-sensitive people like me.

Embossing was done using two techniques - the rivet side has traces of some polymer material (maybe lacquer) applied to it. THe excess was washed off (or melted?) later. Reedplate has no oxidation in the rivet corners, which proves the supposition that there's some foreign substance there. If you look alongside the reed, you can also see it.

Then the remaining part of the slot was embossed using a pitch fork or some other round tool.

The tuning is done lengthwise with the whole reed scraped to improve durability.

Reeds were most likely taken off, because they have perfectly round corners.

Despite its age, the harmonica still plays all overbends well. It has pretty high gapping, but that does not hinder overblow playing. It is heavily out of tune, but this is natural for brass of that age.

The sound is like any other diatonic - there's no unique timbre.
