I like it. But that's because it reminds me of Beefheart. I like the distorted sound. What gear are you using?

I like your harp tone and your singing, but the harp and especially the keyboard break just don't serve the groove effectively in my opinion.
I don't mean to be a dick or to say that I could do better. I just want to help, and this is what I hear.

You've got a really strong, groovy bass-line. I found myself more interested in the bass-line than anything else at times. It almost felt like you were fighting it instead of working with it.

My favorite part of your harmonica playing was the stuff you play from 1:25-40 and from 3:35 to the end. It really complements the music there.

In contrast, listen to the phrase from 3:01-3:10. That is just a clunker. It sounds like you're struggling to get the right pitch, and it messes up your phrasing and interferes with the groove.

Hope this helps!

@jdblues....I think I know what he's going for at 3:01. James Cotton does something similar in a long slow-blues solo where he "wallows" between the 2 full-step bend and the 2 draw for a while.

thanks guys. i just threw it together last night. its pretty choppy. iv been listening to a lot of Booker T and the MG,s lately so i wanted to play a little organ in it. im surprised you liked my bass playing because i haven't played much since i was in high school. im useing my home made mic and a line 6 amp someone gave me. im probably highly influenced by James Cotton and a little known bluesman named Chicago Slim. anyways thanks for the feedback.
