As promised, I've just released my new album, SOUTHBOUND, as a download. The purchase page is the second page on this website.
SOUTHBOUND.
It's available in two forms: WAVs and mp3s. The mp3s were saved at 192 kb/s, which is fairly big as mp3s go.
You can preview the album by going to the page above, scrolling to the bottom, and clicking the link for either Tradebit product page. Hit "preview" to the right of the photo, or hit the small arrow at the bottom right corner of the photo. The preview is extensive: samples from 9 tracks totaling more than 6 minutes.
Mastering by L. Nix Mastering in Memphis.
I tracked 9 out of 11 cuts as a one-man band, then added stuff. I play guitar on seven tracks, and my friend/engineer/co-producer, Bryan W. Ward, plays guitar on a few.
Jerry Jemmott plays bass on three tracks. Three other bass players (including our own Earlounge) play bass on various tracks. We've got keyboard on several tracks and drums on two tracks. Hand-claps on one.
PDF liner notes are included in the zip files that contain the tracks.
I'll eventually release the album on iTunes and Amazon mp3s, but not until the holidays are fading in the rearview mirror. I plan to have regular CDs for mail order, too, at some point. Not for a while.

Just listened to it today. Nice work! I like that your voice is getting a little dirtier on this one. I think if you go even moreso in that direction it would be AWEsome. I like the different range of sounds and styles on the album. Keeps it entertaining.

I just discovered that the album is up on Amazon mp3s. It goes on sale there on January 1.
The previews there are all active, so you can check out individual cuts, at least briefly, at your leisure. All 11 cuts are there, of course, not just the 9 I included in my preview clip. Here's the link:

As for the slightly dull colors in the cover design at Amazon: Adam "Kyser Sosa" Marsh and I did everything we could to troubleshoot this issue, and I mean EVERYTHING. (Well, we didn't actually tear out fistfuls of hair. We just wanted to.) The cover looks right on this website and at Tradebit, and the CD art will look fine. There's just a hobgoblin at work somewhere, and he's got our number......

Previews???? We don't need no stinkin' previews.....
I just downloaded it and am attempting to "burn" it to a CD.
You know my history of success in that endeavor.....I might have to wait until the brick and mortar version comes out!!
