Bet he thought twice about letting another harp player again...
I got to see Tommy a few months ago here in Indiana. He was unbelievable! You will probably see him out touring more, now that he is hooked up with the PBS crowd. If I could play like anyone, it would be him...

Tommy Emmanuel plays fairly often with Bob Littell. Bob is a great guy and solid harp player. The two sound great together.
He is a regional neighbor of mine (and, as a bonus lives not far from Lazy Lester) and has the enviable employment of being the General Manager of the serving part of the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
He and Emmanuel have done some duo shows at SNBC that knock your socks off. Right up there with any acoustic git/harp duo out there.
I have been lucky enough to see Tommy E. a few times and actually meet him. A friend of mine (Loren Barrigar) is a friend of his. We usually get Tommy to swing by Syracuse for a show and a guitar workshop , while he is touring. He is much more than a guitar player....he gets percussion out of his axe like no one else.
Loren is a finger style player that shared the Grand Ole Opry stage with Chet Atkins at the age of 6----playing Yakety Axe. Here is a video of them playing together.
@heartbreak video >wow what a great intro! I think I'm starting to dig this guy. He sure took it down pretty good there. Thanks for posting it.

I see your Tommy Emmanuel and raise you a Michael Hedges:
Or an Erik Mongrain:
Both are doing -- or, in Hedges' case, did (RIP) -- interesting, percussive things with the guitar that I would love to hear applied to the blues.
