I just came across this:

This is worth watching just to see the guitarist. I have no idea if it will work for harp, but this is the sorta thing I dream of. The M13 has some solid synths, but this pedal seems to have all the sounds I hear in my head.

Expensive, though!

(I don't like the brass sounds, but some of the other tones are killer!)

***I think you have to use a guitar pickup to get this to work. I can't find any info on a similar unit that would work straight from a guitar cable or transformer. My M13 works without a GK cable, obviously, but doesn't have all these sounds.

These things require a a special six-channel pick up (you can see it in the video, mounted right at the bridge) to ensure that each pitch-to-MIDI converter only needs to track one string.

I'd think that something purpose built for winds or voice would work better for harp, although you'd probably have to be careful to not confuse it with chords.

Correct. I can't find anything like this that would work with harp. The piano and organ tones would be most important to me, but I love the vocal ones too.

I've been working on an Otis Taylor tune where his daughter is singing long held notes behind the chords and something like this would really help nail a full sound like that.

On the M13, I can use the delay with mod, octo, or particle verb, but they always sound to trippy.
