Very pleased to announce that I'm now doing harmonica work full-time.

If you have an order in, your wait time could be much less than estimated depending on which end of the waiting list you're on. If you've thought about getting some harps but were discouraged by long waits, please keep me in mind as the process will now move along much faster.

I'm also exploring ideas about how to expand my services. Without needing to fit things in around a day job, some types of work turned away before may now be welcomed. I'll keep the website updated as these ideas are fleshed out.

Thanks-

Joe Spiers

This is great news for the harp community.

Joe's work has helped me achieve new levels in my playing over the last few years, which would have otherwise been impossible.

Very excited for you, Joe!

For those of you who are not aware of Joe and his work he is really among the best. He was the go-to guy for Ricci. His harps are amazing, and his service excellent. Once you are one of his customers, he takes care of you.

Joe did piece work for Harrison but backed away from that... but was able to swap secrets with Richard Sleigh as part of that deal. Joe claims he stepped it up as a result of this.. a couple of notches since he stopped accepting most orders. The service work he did on my MB Stage II from earlier makes me think he is not just saying that! It came back with nice stable 4,5,6 overblows that would just pop in, and blows on the same notes that could stand some good attack. Draw and blow bends all perfect. Now I am tempted to overplay my Stage III so I can send it back for repair and see how much improved it comes back! :-)

My suspicion is that the SP20 stage II might be the best value out there for someone who has been thinking about getting into a custom harp, wants one that can play louder blues without choking up, but does not need all the OB and OD capability. And wants a quality instrument that will hold value.

No affiliation other than a satisfied customer...

That will change in time. Being dependent on others for combs doesn't work out well for my situation. Had to address the MB's first, and it's working a lot better. Already planning on the GM's.

@Michael
May have went to your spam folder, I resent a minute ago. Thanks for the alert on the contact form, wasn't aware of a problem since it's working for others...what browser do you use?

Does Joe have an active website? The link shows an error page, and can't find an alternate on Google.

Thanks for the warm replies, my first full day being self-employed was great!

I wonder if the server was down for a minute atty1chgo, I don't see a problem now.
