here are some from tonight. Over the past 40 years the harp has evolved from a very busy sounding thing to a sparse thing that accents a song. The older I get the less notes I play. The old bluesmen I learned from followed a similar path. They started out young and playing a ton of busy notes but as they aged their playing became sparse and IMO as powerful as their early stuff with an added level of depth to it. I dig space! I got my 1963 fender jazzmaster back today from the shop. It was Stevie Vaughns who got it from Lonnie Mack. It was given to me when I hit austin with a funky guitar and amp rig. It is a classic axe and it brings back tons of memories when I play it. Walter
