Just started hitting overblows on the 4, 5 & 6 holes! I had to lip purse to get them though Here's my question, Is it possible to get overblows with a tongue block ?

Congrats on the overblows! That really is a magical moment when they start happening. It is possible, but I've never been able to get it to happen. There are people on this forum that do it, though. ----------

Ask for a lesson to Dennis Gruenling, or the magician James Conway, they're both tongue blockers and it doesn't seems to be a problem for them...
I'm a lip puser so I can't really help you on that one.

It is possible to get overblows TBing. That said I have yet to hear TBers use OBs in the same context as LP overblowers....as quick passing notes, sustained notes with strong vibrato, bending them up...etc.
Big difference between "hitting" an overblow and using one as a playable note...seamlessy blending it in to everything you play.

Overblows remind me of snipe hunting on a first campout with the scouts. It seams feasible they are out there but they are quite elusive. Every now and then I think I hear one but I can't quite catch one.
