I finished a grueling masters program last week, so I'm doing anything that doesn't involve writing a paper or reading scholarly articles. I've had this idea for a while so here it is...
It was the Masters of Teaching at USC. It's basically a two-year program mashed into 60 weeks. Plus I was working full time, family, band etc. etc. It was pretty exhausting.
say , that looks like my very first guitar, a Stella !!!
Good info , good stuff in this video...a CLASSIC !!!
Caught your show with Dennis and Chris Vitarello once.. Rockin good time ...
Dennis camera failed , so he asked me to film it, I did, but you were wearing all white and it came out lookin like Casper the Friendly Ghost on harp!!!
And watching the end, the note you skip while descending is 4 draw bend. 3 - Double, 3 draw, 4 blow, 4 draw bent 4 draw, skip 4 bend, 4 blow, 3 draw, 3 double. Hate to be that guy, but that's the guy I am.
Guilty as charged Michael on both accounts. The chord thing... that was on the fly and I'll forgive myself. But I spent the time to tab the lick out and still got it wrong. That's why I prefer to use my ears and not tab.
Michael, I edited the riff and pointed people toward your channel in the clip info. In keeping with my Masters program I cite my sources properly! Thanks again.
Yeah Michael, but the point is using 3D** as the root for the ii chord. That's the valuable part of the lesson as far as I'm concerned. The omissions on the arpeggiation are forgivable.
