Could anybody tell me if the elements in the old deco shaped mics that come with the Old Webcor reel to reels make decent elements for bullets,etc.I recently came across a recorder with the mike at an antique shop for $25..I unscrewed the back off of the mike and yes it was the same size as a cm/cr but had a thick foil facing.I recently saw the same element in another mike on e-bay and the seller referred to it as crystal.True or False? Thanks for the input.
