Just back from dates in Spain with the group "Shine." What a stone cold blast. Here is a clip of me and two of the members doing "Sweet Sue":

Beautiful, amazing music PT. Man oh man, I'm going to have to be way more familiar with your music from now on. You have that gypsy thing down. Please post more music if you get a chance, and - THANKS!

Wonderful. What I love about this is the way it flows, always moving forward. It's like a path of chords rather than a pattern.

Had you rehearsed that, or did you just jam?

The riff at 4:02 in that some of you asked me about offline was totally impromptu. Thanks for all the kind words about the clip.

Slide in jazz manouche! That´s a first for me, and very refreshing.
May I be so bold and ask if it´s a C harp you´re using? (I know you play valved.)

Hi Martin...yeah Slide in Jazz Manouche! This guy flat gets it. Yes, I am playing a C harmonica on this song. The resophonic slide is tuned to an open G and the song is in G also.

Hi PT, love your stuff. As a jazz sax player who doubles [ first lesson from Sonny Terry in Melbourne Aust ] on diationic and recently chromatic it's great to hear the jazz background in there. I am ordering a Seydel half-valve. Now, please explain resophonic slide.
Cheers
Max

@Max....thanks for the kind words. I can order the instrument for you if you like. The resophonic guitar is like a dobro except you finger it with your left hand rather than use a slide on a raised bridge. The slide part refers to the fact that this guy also has a slide on his left pinky finger to add that texture. Check out this link for a picture:

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=resophonic+guitar&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12961124174587288664&sa=X&ei=RrfSTqpwxsC2B_j5zbcN&ved=0CFsQ8gIwAg

LMK if I can help with ordering your harmonica for you. Any Gazell Method diatonic I sell I also personally check before it goes out the door.

Thanks
PT
