Here are some from this afternoon. I continue to be ever more thankful for the simple things. I work with mentally retarded high school students. The simplest things we take for granted like being able to explain to the home depot guy what you are wanting to do and understanding what he says back to you. Then going to the checkout and paying with cash or credit and having a car waiting on you in the parking lot are things they will never be able to achieve. We often take the little things for granted and or see them as a hassle. I could go on for pages with the simple things we easily take for granted that my students will never be able to experience. They love to dance and are the best dancers in the world. We can learn tons from them on dance, love, forgiveness, trust, imagination, and I could go on........ These songs are about this and dancing. Try to enjoy the simple things in this holiday season instead of stressing on them. Enjoy! Walter

today we had an insulation company blow insulation into our walls and ceiling. They did it from the inside of the house because we have old aluminum siding on the outside. They assured us it would make only a bit of dust because they would use a vacum next to the drilling. I got home after work and they were drilling away with no vac and the house was in a cloud of plaster lath dust. I had to pull out my old NJ ways of dealing with crap. It worked. they sent a big clean up crew out and cleaned the whole house. I tried being nice at first but that was going to lead to us having to clean up. I hate having to do this stuff. I thought I was over having that rage channel take over. It took over long enough to get things straight. Where has the quality an work ethic gone in the USA???? I sang about it all tonight. Walter

I hate it when my inner Borough Park/Sunset Park, cross the Verrazano at 5pm back to NJ comes out. Life is better in Ohio Walter, we may miss the pizza and yes there is just more to do back East, but when it comes to trying to live a calmer laid back life you picked the right spot. You will live years longer and happier if you don't die of boredom.

LonesomeHarpman: It is nice in Ohio. I have been big city all my life. The small village life is very nice. I have done all the big city stuff enough to never have to go to one again. Going to Columbus is getting to be a drag. I like it small, simple, safe, friendly, and Granville is all that. Yes, the food is barely edible here but I make my own scratch made pizzas and Italian food that I learned from my mother and her family which are in the business back there. I can get about 90% accurate to a NJ pizza. Walter ---------- walter tore's spontobeat - a real one man band and over 1 million spontaneously created songs and growing.
