Was anyone at Rory Mc Cleod's workshop at the Bristol NHL festival last weekend? Someone mentioned that his harmonica playing seemed to be influenced by Peg Leg someone, to which Rory agreed. I immediately decided to look Peg Leg up, but have now forgotten his surname. Can anyone help? Greeno

Peg Leg Sam. Born for Hard Luck if I recall correctly. Very soulful. BTW I wasn't there. Wish I had been... Wrong side of the world. Of course I am guessing. Could have been another Peg Leg.

VIDEO Most likely Peg Leg Sam, knowing Rory's style. He was a multi-talented medicine show performer who told jokes, danced, and played harp. The clip above is the beginning of a longer documentary that can be found on http://www.folkstreams.net/ along with a bunch of other cool documentaries on "folk" culture and music.
