Johnny's tone is great and the video doesn't even begin to it justice. He gets a great sound from that rig. For my taste he's using too much delay in the first clip, but that's of course all down to personal taste.
Tommy and Johnny are both great guys. I've not seen them for a couple of years now. I must remedy that soon and catch up with him.
For all you gear heads, the amp he's using is a tweed Fender Pro Junior, which has had some circuit changes and been rewired in point to point style and is putting out around 10 watts.

I had'nt heard of these guys but i sure as hell have now, they are great what a lovely tone and what inventive phrasing, i'm gonna be listening to a lot of them over the next few weeks.
