Even though I posted this in pop tune with harmonica I had to give it it's thread. Such a cool promo with Tommy in the studio playing such a sweet harmonica part. This is the kinda of stuff arranger of old did with harmonica.

I've always liked this too Emile. Have had the record since it was released although I haven't dug it out in a while. Accompanying a singer on a ballad and adding to the song while remaining in the background is no small challenge, I find. Tommy Morgan is always tasteful. A 'million' sessions, and a reader too, of course. The parts he played on the Quincy Jones album 'You've got it bad girl' with Toots and Stevie Wonder were interesting too. (That album has the 'Sanford and son' theme that Adam has covered recently). ---------- KiwiRick http://www.richardshanksart.com

Thanks for posting this, Emile. Tommy Morgan's Chromatic book was my first instruction on harmonica. I never heard him in action until now. Wow! Simple, intricate and elegant.
