he will be doing a short set a week from today with his band the terraplane drifters-does anybody know him and is he an approachable person

He is a very nice guy and very approachable.
Who's in the band? He doesn't really have a regular. Mostly uses a local band.

He is one of the nicest and down to earth people that you'll ever meet. Very approachable.
