Interesting to here examples of players
that have the butterfield influence.
This is a Bukka White. This was arranged with
no recording to reference back to.
Bass player said I wanna do this tune
here's the arrangement. Note it changes grooves
on the solos.
So post away this one could be fun.

I'm game Diggs - and yes you sure can hear Butter in your playing on that one. 3:59 in on Mister Charlie is where I start to blow. It's not quite as direct - but I think you'll hear the Butter influence anyway.

@Bone yeah Butterfield influenced for sure.
The band groove has a butter band vibe to.
Recording software love it. Heard it on my M1 Alesis
monitors. Look at you with a stereo mix.
Good stuff!!!!

Glad you dug it Diggs - Yea, I've got a 16 track digital workingman's 'sstudio set up in the home theater / music room. That day the guitar player's (Tom the older one's) -youngest son came over with the camcorder and I layered his shot on the multitrack. Tom's older son Devin is our other guitar player.

Re. Butter influence. While Sonny Boy II compelled me to pick up the harp and is still my - if I had to pick one - guy, - I refuse to even try to sound like him, - What's the use - or point. Butter put it all out there and added a Rock energy, - without playing BLUZROCK. He was white, but completely genuine - being himself. I saw him at the Last Waltz - and many years later at the Fillmore in SF. I tried to say hi and pay my respects, - He did not look very good - and couldn't have cared less.
