The harp looks sweet. Looks like RJ Harman has already tried to make an offer for it. Looks like the price may go through the roof on this one.

Personny I'm not keen on brass but it would be very cool to own a Filisko harp. Think I'll just watch this one:o)

Ewww, 18 years old. I know what my harmonicas go through in 1 year, lol. It does look nice & interesting design on the cover plates. I'd rather order from Jim or Joe (though, Joe doesn't have harps for sale up yet) or someone who can give me a new custom harmonica that meets my specs. Now if this were made for Howard Levy... haha.

With this being a harp Filisko made in 1994, I would imagine that his customizing skills and harps have improved since that time, which could mean that in order for this harp to play as good as his current harps, it would have to be updated. So, the question is, would Filisko update it - does he have time?

If not, and you end up having to send this to another customizer anyway, like Richard Sleigh for example, wouldn't it be better to just buy a new custom?

Of course, if you wanted an all brass Filisko harp as a collector's item, then that's a little different. I'd love to have one, but to me it's not worth paying hundreds of dollars for an old harp with someone else's name on it. Now, if Filisko offered these new, yes, I'd buy one.

You are right Todd. I just came into some 1997 Felisko's, one of which is a double reedplate A, and they are great, but not as great as his newer ones, and not as good as the more current Richard Sleigh, Joe Spiers etc, but still outstanding, if you know what I mean. But, on the other hand, I would not sell my bouble A for $400, because I would never be able to find another one like it.
