The motherboard on my recording computer was acting wierd so I sent it back the manufacturer. That left me without my recording set up for the past 2 weeks. I realized I am addicted to recording my music. I survived ok, but am sure glad to have it back.
During that time there was some discussion here about addictions to drugs/alcohol. I have battled with them most of my life and recording my music helps keeps me from being tempted. I have had a lot of time to reflect on things these past 2 weeks and when I sat down to record today realized I am not ready to get back in the mix of playing the clubs regularly. It is too much of a temptation with my addictions. Hopefully I will continue to grow more distant from temptations and will hit the club scene again with a bang before I die.

Here are some from this mornings session. I enjoy the harp being a part of the story of the song. I could post more fancy songs with mainly hand held harp stuff, but for me, it can be bone simple and that is enough. The song - leaving the children a mighty blue world- is one I am proud of the harp. It is simple as heck but fits the song. I had to chop it into 2 parts to make it work on my soundclick site. Walter
