Here's a clip from Sigi Tolo's recent gig. I play a C harp in 8th position (C#) here. I think it suits best for this type of music.

Undeniably influenced by Howard Levy's world music, especially the stuff with Lebanese oud player Rabih Abou-Khalil. That album just makes me go crazy.

Looks like someone filmed parts of our performance. This one is in 5th position. Takes me back to Istanbul to the ferry trips over the Bosphorous strait from Asia to Europe. Jesus, you wouldn't believe how red and enormous the sun can be.

Any thoughts? What I'm thinking now is that next time I might use less effected sound in the first song posted above.
