I am getting excited. I am starting a new job and what use to be a 2:15 minute commute each way to work...3 trains is now going to be a 1 hour drive in my car....

That means 2 hours a day to practice while driving. :)

All I could do on the train is listen to my ipod and watch youtube videos.

Just remember driving is your first priority when driving.

I have an hour commute as well. I'm usually not energetic enough to practice while driving in to work. But I do sometimes play for 30-45mins one handed to a good blues album while concentrating on the road on the way home. I don't think this time is good for practicing scales or anything cause you need that part of your mind for the road but you can easily play along with or make up your own harmonica on blues songs.

You know how Jason Ricci got good? Driving in the car on trips between potato states (Idaho and Maine). I'm serious. That's how it happened. God speed 528.

OT: the 528 hemi was only available as an aftermarket engine right?

Back when I first started Doc Gussow lessons on You Tube, I had a job doing residential electrical service work in a huge area in the Northwest. So I did a lot of driving in a big service truck--most days probably averaged about 4 to 6 hours on the road and around 4 or 5 hours of actual crawling around somebody's house to fix electrical shit.

Anyway, I had a laptop computer set up next to me in the cab with GPS software--so I would download lessons and play them on the road--I learned a lot of stuff that way--the GPS would just tell me when to turn. . .

David,

I have a 1966 Dodge Charger real 426hemi car..It is bored and stroked to 528 hemi. They never made a 528 hemi from the factory. But you could buy one after market and throw one in.
