Todd, Man this is heaven to listen to. I just ordered the cd because of the intro. With your extensive knowledge of Terry what other cd's do you recomend?
I am a sucker for slow blues and is this in the key of B or is it in B minor. I can never tell between major and minor I just know that Terry is in the key of E 2nd pos.
One of my Harp heros. Had the CD for 5 yrs now. His "I got a feelin" CD is great also. It never gets old. I learned a lot of licks from Terry and pattern a lot of my stuff after him. If I ever go back to Pigon Forge I'm going to stop by his grave and say thanks.Hope to see him on the other side and play a little harp with him and the gang:) Mike
I remember when he passed away-at that time I lived in cosby not far from pigeon forge but have only heard his music after his death-a youtube video of him I saw him playing golden melodies
It is not traditional blues, but Terry's "I've Got A Feeling" is a great gospel album that includes his classic versions of "Amazing Grace" and "This Train". You can get a taste of the cd by checking out both songs, which are available as videos on YouTube.
The cd is out of print, but I picked it up a couple of years ago on Amazon.
