Darrell Mansfield is awsome. A buddie of mine told me about him a week ago. So I checked out a bunch of his vids. Great stuff!

I don't remember if you guys like Biker harp or not. There was a big discussion a while ago. IMO this is what the Bikers in Milwaukee would dig.(ME too) ATTITUDE!

I've heard the reference to "Biker bar harp" made a few times around here. The first time was about Robert Plants playing on No Body's Fault But Mine (Led Zeppelin). I'm not quite getting the term Biker bar harp.

@ TOMMY, hang out at a few clubhouses, go to some biker gigs, this vid is a classic biker harp showdown.

I think some people don't like Biker Bar harp--or maybe they just consider it a lesser plane of existence from where they'd like to be--to me, it's the heart and soul of the harp--it's what I aspire to!

It's OK to wave your freak flag and admit you like some good biker bar harp. I'm a borderline hesher who is learning overblows.

I think Adam stated in one of his youtube videos that biker bar harp was *just* good enough to get a crowd at a bar tapping their feet, clapping their hands, & ordering more drinks.

I was at the concert in the second video. Here's Glenn doing his own take on harp at the same festival (in the Coffeehouse tent):

OK, I thought that was an awesome rendition of a classic. It may not be considered "great harmonica playing" by some but it made me want to go pick up a harp...and since it's lunch time I think I will!
