Hey Harmonica friends, I didn't know this forum existed until a few days ago, so I'd like to post some recordings I made a few weeks ago and see what you think.

I found my way into my school's theater at around 1am and decided to turn on my little zoom H4 recorder and improvise. I'd really appreciate if you listened through some of my music.

These are free improvisations, all of them exploring different things and different ideas. The two tracks that are more directly influenced by something are the improvisation on How High the Moon and "007" which is a more blues-based exploration, sort of variations on a theme.

Thanks,
Sam

P.S., using either a G special 20, or a C golden melody that I've worked on in these recordings.

Welcome to the forum Sam. You have been playing awhile haven't you? Interesting and very well articulated patterns you have going on there. Thanks for sharing!

@ orphan

Thanks, I've been playing harmonica for about 2.5 years. I'm 21 now. I play a few other instruments, and piano was my first, so it is what I imagine when playing harmonica.

@ toxic tone
ha yea, I got kicked out by the security guard around 2am. There's a recording I didn't put up of me improvising and her interrupting me telling me to leave, asking "why I was playing in the dark".
