A Suzuki Bluesmaster in F. I like it, but the 6 hole bend is... finicky. Usually when I try to bend it, it makes this super high-pitched squeal. Is this normal (i.e., do I need to bend differently since it is in a higher key?), or do I need to do something to the reed to make it more responsive or something?
P.S.- I also got Jon Gindick's Rock ' Blues Harmonica book. Time to learn to play the blues instead of just playing the harmonica.

not sure abt the squeal..but the higher harp E, ~f the six bend is a little difficult than the lower key harps.. IMHO!

johns book was very helpful at first but there is too much emphasis on riffs and not enough on chord progression and keeping the beat adams youtube lessons were much more helpful
