roadharp 74 posts Sep 28, 2011 5:30 PM	ok guys a lot of you tear down the blues jr i have a2007 relic with nos and jenson speaker i changed out the gt 12ax7 tubes for eh12ay7 and a jj electronic ecc82 and it works great great tone and if you mic it to the pa you can hang with any band and not feed back. you have to tweek the knobs some .i all most sold it till i figuered this out hope this help blues jr owners. happy harpin .
hvyj 1807 posts Sep 28, 2011 5:46 PM	You know, some people (including me) think that the stock reverb tank on a BJ sounds tinny. Ruby tubes makes a replacement tank that has deeper tone. If you swap out tanks you can bag the RT tank with a small reverb tank bag from MojoTone. FWIW.
