To be fair, that's not as reasonable a comparison as it would appear on the surface, Oscher in the 2nd clip doesn't sound much like Oscher on the Mr Kelly's clips at all, maybe just down to the way it was captured? Nevertheless, folks have trouble picking them out from the Mr Kellys recording sometimes (not me I hasten to add).

Exactly my reason for posting. They were both live recordings,same band,same year. I doubt the recording quality had much to do with it- both fairly decent -two different and distinct players on the same night at Mr. Kellys,yet Oscher has a totally unique tone and phrasing that varies on the Ash Grove set.
