Kudzu
I was just curious what "Kudzu" meant. I'm still curious: Adam...Why KUDZUrunner?
Let me guess: You ran along where lots of kudzu grew. (?)

Ever been to North Mississippi? Actually the majority of the state, not just the north, is covered with the stuff. Supposedly it was brought over to control erosion, but it takes over and chokes out everything around it. It looks like some sort of climbing ivy, almost attractive really, until you realize it's choking all the other plant life out. It's a bitch to kill, too. I used to own a house in Mississippi that backed up to an interstate highway that was overgrown with kudzu, and it found it's way into my yard. It laughs at Roundup. ---------- Todd L. Greene

I answered it in an earlier thread back in December 2009. Good question:

Ahh, Thank you Adam. I use my same username everywhere, unless it's already taken. Then I'll add ftw to the end of it. (Stands for Ft. Worth.)

I remember an episode of "That's Incredible" that featured the Kudzu tree. They played it almost as a horror show, as if kudzu could practically overgrow you while you slept. 7 Boy oh boy, did I love that show! I forget what night it was on, but the follow up show was Capatain and Teniel. Channel 7 ruled the airways.

FYI< Chinese medicine uses Kudzu in tea as a treatment for alcoholism. Its said to greatly reduce the cravings. A local tea mfr in my state "Yogi Tea" uses it in their "DeTox" tea.
