AAARG!
Back in the 70's I had a 6 night a week residency out in N. Hollywood which featured a dance contest each night. There were on average 15 or more contestants every night. Dancing was big then. Being the hit of the day, Long Train Running was the song we had to play for every contestant every night. It always went from the chorus into the harp solo and out, 15-20 times a night, six nights a week for six weeks and another couple of times a night, six nights a week at the other late night/early morning residency in East L.A.. To this day every time I hear this song in an elevator, super market, or wherever I want to run screaming like a war vet who ducks for cover at a car backfiring. Needless to say, I did not listen to the posted recording.
Excuse me, the voices tell me I have to go have a little lie down now. ---------- LSC
