Hi Heart2Harp, Hello from the west coast of Canada. I remember how much I liked your harp playing (and singing) when I first heard you on the internet-- on MySpace, I think.
About your question-- I've been playing the older Fender Blues Deluxe (1995)as my main amp for two years. Don't know if what I have to say applies to your newer model, but I suspect it does.
I substituted some old preamp tubes I had lying around. I also installed two 10 inch speakers instead of the one 12 inch. Those two modifications have given me an amp I foresee playing for a long time.
I play in small to medium sized rooms, or outdoor music festivals (miked).
